Educational breakout sessions for the second annual Organic Produce Summit will be finalized in the coming weeks, rounding out plans for this year’s event in Monterey, CA July 12-13. To date, OPS 2017 features a sold-out exhibition area (120 growers, shipper and processors of organic fresh produce from across North America); sold-out retailer tours; a gala opening night reception and a series of inspiring and thought provoking keynote presentations from leaders in the organic fresh produce industry.

Keynote presentations at OPS 2017 include an overview and data dive into organic fresh produce sales by Nielsen; a Retail Roundtable featuring representatives from three of the nation’s most progressive retail operations--Dave Corsi, Vice President Produce and Floral for Wegmans; Heather Shavey, Assistant Vice President, Global Produce for Costco; and Chad Miller, Vice President Produce Procurement for Sprouts; and a thought-provoking and enlightening presentation by Erica Welton and Dennis Hoover, founders of The Organic Coup, Amerca’s first USDA approved organic fast food chain.
